The ARB Esperance 2.0 Roof Top Tent Hard Shell is a compact and lightweight hard-shell rooftop tent designed for touring, overlanding, and off-grid camping. Developed from the original Esperance with more than 40 product enhancements, it combines a slimline aerodynamic ABS shell, integrated 12V electrics, improved ventilation, interior and exterior LED lighting, a comfortable 50mm egg-crate foam mattress, and practical internal storage to deliver a refined all-round rooftop tent setup. It is built for customers who want a feature-packed yet lightweight roof tent that remains easy to live with on and off the vehicle.

Whilst still supplied in dark grey as standard, ARB also offers the shell with an optional colour-coding paint service for a more tailored vehicle-matched finish.

One of the biggest strengths of the Esperance 2.0 is its balance between compactness and usability. The slimline moulded ABS shell is designed to improve wind resistance and keep the overall structure neat and streamlined on the vehicle. At a dry weight of 59kg, it remains relatively lightweight for a hard-shell rooftop tent, making it especially appealing for customers who are conscious of roof load, handling, and overall setup practicality. ARB also now offers the shell with an optional paint service for customers who want a more integrated, vehicle-matched appearance.

Comfort has also been improved in meaningful ways. The Esperance 2.0 now comes with a 50mm thick convoluted egg-crate style foam mattress as standard, paired with a quilted peach-skin removable and washable cover for a softer and more premium sleeping surface. The tent sleeps two adults and one child, while additional storage features such as internal pockets, cargo pockets, shoe pockets, and a dedicated window rod storage pocket help keep the interior more organised in day-to-day use.

ARB has also put clear focus on ventilation, weather protection, and night-time usability.
