Hi, I'm George — and with me in the picture is Ella. This was taken near the top of Ben Hope, the most northerly Munro in the UK!
GOTCHU was built from a simple belief that great adventures deserve great equipment & the right gear can completely change your experience outdoors.
After many trips exploring the UK — from the rugged coastline of northern Scotland to the vast landscapes of the Highlands — sometimes with the right gear and ofter with the wrong gear. We realised finding equipment that was reliable, well-designed, and genuinely built for real-world adventure wasn't always straightforward. So we decided to build a place that focused on exactly that.

Who’s Behind GOTCHU?
Well, Us! We’re outdoor enthusiasts first — the business simply grew from that passion.
Whether it's hiking remote trails, exploring the NC500, camping on the coast, or chasing views in the Highlands, adventure is a big part of our lives.
The experiences we’ve had outdoors shapes the products we choose to sell.
If it isn’t something we’d trust on our own trips, it doesn’t make it onto the site.
This hands-on approach means every product is chosen with intention — focusing on durability, usability, and performance where it actually matters.

Why We Started GOTCHU
We noticed that a lot of outdoor gear retailers had become either; mass-market catalogue stores or overly niche boutiques — We wanted something in between.
A place where you could confidently buy equipment knowing it had been carefully selected, properly sourced, and backed by people who actually use it.
We’ve curated a wide range of outdoor products in one place so you don’t have to jump between multiple websites.
