The Thule Vector L Roof Mounted Cargo Box is built for customers who want a roof box that combines serious luggage capacity with a refined, premium finish. Sitting at the high end of Thule’s range, the Vector L offers a sleek, sporty profile while still providing 430 litres of usable storage for bulky travel essentials, outdoor kit and winter sports equipment.
Its longer, larger format makes it especially well suited to family travel, ski trips and extended road journeys. Thule specifies capacity for skis up to 205cm, with room for approximately 4–6 pairs of skis or 3–5 snowboards, making it a practical option for customers who need both size and premium finish in one roof box.
The Vector L is designed to make everyday use feel more considered. The dual-side opening allows loading and unloading from either side of the vehicle, while the reinforced lid supports smooth, controlled operation. Inside, the roof box features a white-coloured lid interior, integrated LED lighting and a felt-lined base, making gear easier to see in poor light and giving the interior a more upmarket feel.
Fitting is handled through Thule’s PowerClick mounting system, which uses an integrated torque indicator to click once the roof box is properly secured to the bars. For security and ease of use, the SlideLock system separates the opening and locking functions, automatically securing the lid in place and providing a clear visual indication that the box is closed correctly.
The box is also positioned further forward on the vehicle roof to help reduce the likelihood of contact with an open tailgate, provided the vehicle has sufficient front clearance. Thule specifies a required front clearance measurement of greater than 1409mm for the Vector L.

We realised finding equipment that was reliable, well-designed, and genuinely built for real-world adventure wasn't always straightforward. So we decided to build a place that focused on exactly that.
