The Thule VeloSpace XT 2-Bike Tow Bar Bike Carrier is a highly versatile towbar-mounted rack designed to transport a wide range of bikes, from e-bikes and heavy mountain bikes to fat bikes and smaller children’s bikes. With a 60kg total load capacity, generous 25cm spacing between bikes and support for long wheelbases up to 1300mm, it is built for larger, heavier and more demanding bike setups.
The carrier can be expanded to hold a third bike with the optional Thule VeloSpace XT Bike Adapter, and it is also compatible with the Thule BackSpace XT cargo box, giving it added flexibility for travel, holidays and adventure use.

Product Description
The Thule VeloSpace XT 2 is a robust and adaptable towbar bike carrier designed for riders who need more flexibility than a conventional rack can offer. It is particularly well suited to heavier and more demanding bicycles, including e-bikes and full-suspension mountain bikes, while still remaining practical for everyday family cycling, road bikes and children’s bikes.
Its 60kg load capacity and 30kg per-bike limit make it a strong option for carrying heavier modern bikes, while the extra-long wheel trays allow it to handle wheelbases up to 1300mm. The wider 25cm gap between bikes helps improve clearance when transporting bulkier frames, wider handlebars or more heavily equipped bikes.
Loading is designed to be straightforward. Detachable bike arms make positioning easier, while Thule AcuTight torque limiter knobs provide a reassuring click once optimal tightening force has been reached. Adjustable wheel holders with pump buckles help secure the wheels, and compatibility can be extended for fat bikes by using Thule’s optional XXL Fatbike Wheel Straps.
The VeloSpace XT 2 is also designed to be highly practical once fitted. A foot-pedal tilt function provides access to the boot even with bikes mounted, which is especially useful during road trips or when the carrier is loaded for a full day out.
